Birds of Paradise
This Ribbon-tailed Astrapia is one of the few Birds of Paradise found on the island of Papua New Guinea. This bird and just over 40 other known species inhabit the islands of Eastern Indonesia, Australia, with half of the species being found on Papua New Guinea. This Ribbon-tailed Astrapia may be found close to the Ambua Lodge, by the world renowned Huli Wigmen people of the Southern Highlands.
